Fannie is a 5 month old girl that was trapped with her mom and siblings in Boston. She is a loveabug who enjoys watching TV with her mother. She gets along great with the other cats in the house and did well with a foster dog that was there for a while. She's a ball of energy and LOVES to chase after feathers and laser lights. She follows her foster mom around and will sit prettily waiting for pets. Fannie and her siblings were born to an FIV+ mother. Many kittens born to FIV+ mothers are not FIV+ themselves, but do test positive because of the mother's milk. Fannie and her siblings all tested positive when they first came in, but a month later the siblings all tested negative. Fannie is stil testing positive, but we will not know for sure until a final test is done in December Even if she does stay FIV+, it is not a death sentence. They can live happy healthy lives as long as they receive regular vet care and are kept indoors.
