I have been building these shelters for 4 years. They are very sturdy and water tight.
many shelters have been in use for years by feral trappers I work with in a TNR program.
The shelters are made from a pink colored material but are easily painted. ( painting is extra )
if your cat or a feral colony needs a warm place these work great.The site i found the design on stated ,at ten degrees outside,inside temp. was 55 degrees from cats body heat.
