Licensed Clinician : Marlboro Young Adult Residence (MYAR) - The Bridge of Central Massachusetts in Worcester, Massachusetts For Sale

This program provides therapeutic services for young men and women between the ages of 18 and 25 with mental health challenges. The program is designed to help the young adults referred by the Department of Mental Health develop independent living skills, healthy relationships, personal independence, and the skills to manage their illness. All individuals are expected to attend an in:house day program, school, or work. This program offers Peer Support, and utilizes Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Supported Employment as the treatment models.The Clinician is responsible for:Providing individual therapy to individuals in a residential treatment program.Writing Comprehensive Needs Assessments and assisting Residential Counselors in developing and implementing Individual Assessment Plans (IAPA?s).Leading IMR groups, trainings, and meetings as well as having a leadership role in the implementation of the treatment model.Participating in training staff and working with the leadership team to develop a recovery focused treatment milieu, based upon the principles and values of the Illness Management and Recovery model.Participating in other activities within the milieu and community, as clinically appropriate.MasterA?s degree and licensure required (LSW, LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or license eligible within three months). Experience facilitating groups and formulating treatment plans also required. Applicant must possess skills in the areas of comprehensive assessment, leadership, staff training and development, time:management, and effective verbal and written communication. Experience with a recovery focused approach to mental health treatment preferred.
