The Corporate Tax organization is seeking a highly motivated and energetic tax manager to join its tax accounting team. This highly visible position will assist in managing the worldwide tax planning and forecasting, quarterly and annual tax provision processes.

Position: Principal, Tax Controversies
The primary responsibility is the management of the Internal Revenue Service examinations and planning for future examinations. Responsible for information document request forms and review of other IRS created documents. Perform tax research as issues arise. Communication with other tax groups on identified issues and work to develop audit ready workpapers. Analyzes FIN 48 tax positions and coordinates function with the tax accounting group.
Key Responsibilities:
: Responsible for the management of federal income tax audits including continuous communication with the IRS examination team.
: Assist in tax appeals process including discussions and negotiations with agents.
: Facilitate prompt and accurate responses to IRS information requests and notices of proposed adjustment.
: Research and analysis of IRS issues as they arise in the examination.
: Work with IRS examination team to ensure proper tax calculations at the end of examinations.
: Prospectively prepare and plan for future examinations.
