Our Marmaxx Analysis Finance team has an immediate need for a Senior Analyst. This Analyst will work on projects that drive and support the growth of TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
Role: Senior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
* Provide strategy and recommendations on varied initiatives across all levels of management
* Prepare complex financial models and reports, including Pro:forma Statements, Discounted Cash Flow Models, P and L
* Partner with operational experts and build relationships within the business
Potential Projects:
* Marketing Campaigns : partner with Marketing to evaluate advertising and media campaigns
* Merchandising Initiatives : evaluate inventory management/merchandising initiatives
* Capital Investment Decision Process : evaluate projects to determine if they meet ROI criteria, as well as support the long term growth of the business
* Real Estate : provide store pro:forma analysis and other property evaluations for the company
* Store Performance : analyze operational efficiencies and expense controls to ensure profit is maximized in each location
* Presentation preparation and KPI performance reporting
Ideal candidate will have:
* 3:5 years of financial analysis experience; Consulting, Investment Banking, or MBA a plus
* Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics preferred
*Deep understanding and experience with concepts such as cash flow, NPV, ROI, IRR and flexible financial modeling
* Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
* Demonstrated aptitude with Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* High level of attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
